Bobby Lee Kirk

Bobby Lee Kirk, age 79 of Arbor Drive, Lexington passed away suddenly Friday evening at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Becks Lutheran Church conducted by Rev. Angela Jackson. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Becks Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of his daughter Debbie on Weaver Drive, Lexington, NC. Bobby was born October 16, 1933 in Davidson County to Roy Lee Kirk and Mary McCarn Kirk. He retired after 32 years from Lexcom. He was a member of the Pioneer Club. Bobby was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean conflict. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Donnie Tysinger Kirk; two grandchildren, Allison Kinney and Sarah Elizabeth Kinney and brothers, Tommy Kirk and Wayne Kirk. He is survived by daughters, Debra Kuhn and husband Michael and Libby Walser both of Lexington ; grandchildren, Brian Kinney and companion Heather, Zeb Walser and girlfriend Hannah; great-granddaughter, Kara Kinney and sister Pat Wood and husband Doster of Lexington. Memorials may be directed to, the Donor’s choice. The family would like to thank the staff of Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, and the Davidson County Emergency Medical Service.
