Bobby D. Lankford, 84, of Linwood, passed away December 17, 2023, at Wake Forest Baptist in Lexington.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Bobby was born November 25, 1939, in Wilkes County, to Jake Palmer Lankford and Bertha King Lankford.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, JoAnne Vespia Lankford of the home, sons, Michael D. Lankford partner, (Candace White), James C. Lankford (Kathy), daughter, Cheryl L. Brown, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
