Bobby Ray Leonard, Sr.

Bobby Ray Leonard, Sr. age 79 of L & M Road, Lexington passed away Friday morning at Forsyth Medical Center.   Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Rev. Wayne Lang officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Sunday.   Bobby was born in Davidson County August 27, 1934 to Mack Golden and Jenny Shoaf Leonard. He was a member of The Pentecostal Church of the Living God and a retired employee of RJR Packing. He was preceded in death by his parents.   Surviving are his wife, Nancy Hege Leonard of the home; sons, Bobby R. Leonard, Jr (Angie) and Danny Leonard (Margie) all of Lexington; five grandchildren, Kelly Myers (Jason), Amy Williams, Bobbie Jo Smith (Chris), Amanda and Kody Leonard; 7 great-grandchildren; step daughters, Donna Bostick of Winston Salem, Terrie Leonard of Lexington; sister, Hazel Waselesky of Lexington; brothers, Richard and Henry Leonard of Lexington.   In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.     Online Condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
