Bobby Miller

Bobby Lee Miller, 79 of West Center Street Ext., Lexington died May 16, 2012 in Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after an illness of two years. A funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday May 19, 2012 at First Assembly of God with Pastor Vernon Richmeier officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday May 18, 2012 at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home. Mr. Miller was born in Roberson County on April 13, 1933 to Shep Miller and Lizzie Strickland Miller. He was retired from Lexington Furniture Industries. He was preceded in death by his parent, three brothers and three sisters. Surviving are his wife, Judy Fay Robinson Miller of the home, daughters Brenda “Kookie” Grubbs of Lexington, Penny Byerly and husband Danny of Tyro and Ann Staten and husband Jimmy of Lexington. Granddaughters, Michelle Leonard, Laura Thompson, Tiffany Nail, Codi Byerly and Andrea Link. Grandsons, Mikey Link, Jeffrey Staten, Derek Staten, Tyler Staten. Great Grandchildren, Colton Hege, Ryan Pundt, Cameron Mize, Remington Leonard, Hunter Leonard and Lukas Nail. Brothers, Rossie Miller and wife Doris, Robert Miller and wife Sherlin all of Lexington. Sisters, Joyce Woodell of Fair Bluff, Linda Faye Briggs and husband Tim of Linwood and Patsy Ricker and husband Eddie of Lexington.
