Bobby Myers

November 12, 1960 — May 27, 2025

Robert “Bobby” Elwood Myers, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Yadkin Baptist Church in Salisbury, NC, with the Rev. Dr. Dale Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the church.

Born in Lexington to Jackie Charles Myers and Betty Wood Myers, Bobby was a 1979 graduate of North Davidson High School. He spent many years as a dedicated and well-respected manager at Randy Marion Subaru, where his work family became a meaningful and treasured part of his life. Bobby was truly one of a kind—full of life, laughter, and an unwavering desire to live life to the fullest and with no regrets. He never met a stranger and had a heart big enough to hold countless friendships, including his lifelong buddies known as the Holiday Acre Gang. He was the life of the party, always ready with a story, a laugh, or a helping hand. He was also a proud member of the Lexington Moose Lodge, where he enjoyed fellowship and community involvement with others. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Myers, and his sister, Jaqueline Prince.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Angela Walser Myers; his children, Brock Myers, PE (Jamie) and Dr. Kaylan Myers-Massey (Andrew); his mother, Betty Wood Myers; his brother, Kenneth Myers (Lisa); his sister, Carol Black (Danny) and sister-in-law Jennifer Parsley (John); his cherished grandson, Sawyer “Moo” Myers; a host of nieces and nephews; his loyal K9 companion, Gemma, who he affectionately called “Rowdy”; and the many, many friends who loved him dearly.

Memorials may be made to North Main Baptist Church, 1501 North Main Street, Salisbury, NC 28144.

Bobby’s legacy of joy, friendship, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the blessing of knowing him.
