Bobby Gray Nelson

Bobby Gray Nelson, 71, Mount View Court, Lexington died Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 5:41 AM in Forsyth Medical Center after an illness of four weeks. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday June 7, 2007 at First Baptist Church, where he was a member with Rev. Tommy Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mr. Nelson was born in Laurens County, SC on March 9, 1936 to Thomas Cleveland Nelson and Inez Fuller Nelson. He was retired from Power & Telephone Supply Co., Inc. and was a veteran of the US Marines Corp. He is survived by his wife Rebecca Strange Nelson of the home; sons, Tom Nelson and wife, Dawn, of Lexington; Bill Nelson and wife, Ann, of Raleigh; Blaine Nelson and wife, Lynn, of Lexington; daughters, Eve King and husband, Jim, of Winston-Salem; Becky Hughes and husband, Donald, of Lexington; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Darlene Peak and husband Robert of West Columbia, SC and Ann Prasek and husband, Frank of Houston, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME and other times at the home. Memorials may be directed to American Children’s Home, P.O.
