Bobby Craver Reich, age 77, of South Union Grove Road passed away Sunday morning at his residence after an illness of 5 months. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday 2-7-2012 at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel, with Rev. James Peeler officiating. Burial will follow in Center United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will see friends 6-8 p.m. Monday 2/6/2012 at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel, and other times at the residence.
Bobby was born Feburary 23, 1934 in Davidson County to the late Willie Eli Reich and Addie Craver Reich. He was owner of Bobby Reich Grading Company before his retirement. He was a member of Enterprise Moravian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Lynn Reich; brother, Paul Reich and step-sister, Anna Lynn Potts.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Reich of the home; son, Jeffrey Reich and wife Pam of Lexington; daughter, Catharine Reich of Lexington; brother, Joe Reich and wife Virginia; step-brothers, James Carlton Shoaf, Alfred Shoaf and step-sisters ,Audrey Everhart and Carol Phillips all of Lexington; grandchildren, Shannon Lawson, April Soom, Kelly Byrd, Brian Reich, Katlyn Hedrick and Nicole Reich; and eight great-grandchildren.
