Bobby Lee Robertson

Bobby Lee Robertson, age 69 of Linwood Southmont Road, Lexington passed away Friday morning June 5, 2015 at his home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday June 9, 2015 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be Noon Tuesday at Salisbury National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:30 until 8:30 Monday night and at other times at the home. Bobby was born in South Boston, Virginia April 29, 1946 to Lonnie Melvin and Sadie Trent Robertson. He attended Lighthouse Baptist Church; was a retired employee of Duke Power. He served his country in the US Army, serving in Vietnam and received the Bronze Star. His parents preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife, Linda Dix Robertson of the home; daughter, Tammy Barrow of Lexington; sons, Gary Allen Robertson (Tammy) of Mooresville and Timothy Keith Robertson of Lexington; grandchildren, Stephanie Robertson, Anthony Robertson and Makayla Robertson, Ray Garmon and Jacob McGinnis; honorary grandson, David Yates; sister, Dorothy Helms of Madison; brothers, Melvin Robertson of Denton, Steve Robertson of Troy and Eugene Robertson of Lexington, honorary family, Sam and Corky Powell.
