Bois Oren (Corny) Deal, 66, of Bridge St., Lexington died Saturday, September 8, 2012 in High Point Regional Hospital after 5 years of declining health.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Kenneth Deal and Ty Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the funeral home and other times at the home of the Mother, 1600 A. Bridge St.
Mr. Deal was born July 30, 1946 in Cabarrus County to Wilma Pauline Deal of Lexington.
He was Owner/Operator of Bois’s Hair Stylist. Corny was an active member of New Life Freewill Baptist Church, where he was a Sunday School Teacher, and was the church pianist and sang with the New Life Singers. Preceding him in death was his brother, Winfred Cleo Love, Jr. and a sister, Glenda Hepler.
Surviving are his Mother, Wilma Pauline Deal Love of Lexington; a brother, Ralph Deal of Lexington; two sisters, Diane Shambley and husband, Paul, Phyllis “Punkin” Hollman of Lexington, and also survived by several Nieces and Nephews and his special dog, Tinker Bell.
A special thank you to his brother, Ralph for being by his side for the last five years during his sickness.
