Bonnie Brown Bates passed away peacefully on Monday evening, January 27, 2020 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Pastors Avery Varnadore and Randy Murdock officiating. Burial to follow the service at Lighthouse Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
Bonnie was born in Forsyth County on September 8, 1950 to William Ander Brown and Ruby Ruth Ada Goins Brown. She retired as a general plant manager of RJR, and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Tony Hill.
Those left to honor her memory include the love of her life, Eddie Payne of Rural Hall; her daughter, Tina Brinkley (Mitch Bailey) of Lexington; grandchild, Taylor Brinkley; great-grandchild, Lucas Brinkley; along with Tasha (Josh) Freeman, Zeke, Nolan and Jace who were also special people in Bonnie’s life.
