Bonnie Biesecker

Bonnie Sue Biesecker, 66, of New Bowers Road, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at Hinkle Hospice House following six months of declining health. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 30, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Paul Titus officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park with graveside honors by Lexington Department. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Ms. Biesecker was born September 23, 1949, in Davidson County, to Jerry Biesecker and Frances Bowers Biesecker. She was retired from the Lexington Police Department, where she was the first woman to be hired by the department who was assigned to regular patrol duties. Ms. Biesecker attended First Alliance Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Darrell Biesecker. Surviving are son, Chad Staley and wife Charlene of Lexington; granddaughter, Caitlin Nicole Staley; sister, Carolyn Temple and husband Steve of Lexington; and her loving canine companion, Stella.
