Bonnie Gobble

Bonnie Berrier Gobble, age 75, of Lexington passed away Thursday morning, April 5, 2018 at Hinkle Hospice House.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, April 9th at Coggins Memorial Baptist Church with Pastors Scott Slaughter and Dearl Bunce officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Davidson Funeral home in Lexington.  Bonnie was born on August 13, 1942 in Davidson County to Carl Berrier and Gelia Cope Berrier. She worked as a beautician, and she attended Coggins Memorial Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester Franklin (Frank) Gobble; son, Johnny Gobble; and her brother, Bill Berrier.  She is survived by a son, Scott Gobble, of the home; sister, Judy Gobble (Thomas),  of Lexington; three grandchildren, Amberlie Danielle Hopkins, Dustin Holsinger and Krystal Nixon; and three great-grandchildren, Tiana Hopkins, Aaliyah Hopkins and Brayden Hopkins.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Coggins Memorial Baptist Church, 1306 South Main Street, Lexington, NC 27292.
