Bonnie Garris Hobgood

Bonnie Rose Garris “Grandmother” Hobgood, mother of 3 “Grandmother” to all, went home to Heaven on February 2, 2010 where she was reunited with her late husband Robert Glenn Hobgood, Sr. in time for their 58th wedding anniversity on February 3rd. She was preceded in death by her husband, and two brothers, William and Clarence Garris. She was a member of Testimonial Baptist Church in Thomasville. A service will be held at 11:00 am Friday (February 5, 2010) at Davidson Funeral Home-Hickory Tree Chapel with Rev. Carl Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home. She leaves behind, one daughter, Glenda H. Kiser and husband Mark of Arcadia; two sons, Robert “Buddy” Hobgood and wife Debbie of Minneola, FL and Mark F. Hobgood and wife Shelley of Arcadia; five grandchildren, Candice D. Kiser, Natalie H. Pearl and husband John, Candra K. Leonard and husband Jason, Nathan L. Hobgood and Christopher Kiser; one great granddaughter, Ariann Pearl; two step grandchildren, Alicia Pawlowski and Adam Paulin and numerous friends. The family sends a special thank you to Dr. Lawing and the staff at the TICU at Forsyth Medical Center for all their care and concern.
