Bonnie Farmer Hyatt

Bonnie Lea Farmer Hyatt, 79 of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 3rd at Heath Church officiated by Pastor Daniel Browning.  The family will receive friends at the home after the service.

Bonnie was born on September 6, 1941 in Jackson County, NC to Delos Dexter Farmer and Myrtle Christine Massingale Farmer.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Joe Hyatt; son David Joe Hyatt; brothers Mac Farmer and James Farmer and sisters Ruby Mathis and Virgie Hyatt.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Tom Hyatt (Jill) of Lexington; daughters Loretta Hyatt and Hannah Mayne, both of the home; Robin Dubois and Ruth Hyatt, both of Ohio; brother Lon Farmer; sisters Ellamae Lanning, Anna Vie Thompson, Etta Bea McCall, Ellen Jo Queen; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
