Bonnie Walser Kimbrell, 78 of Lexington, passed away June 28, 2024, at her home on Michael Rd., Lexington.
A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday June 30, 2024, at Tyro Methodist Church, where she was a life member of the church, with the Rev. Randy Foster officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6-8 pm at Davidson Funeral Home, and other times at the home.
Bonnie was born March 25, 1946, in Davidson County, to Harold Henry Walser and Mary Frances Williams Walser. Bonnie was a devoted member of the church, and past youth leader. She was retired from Thomasville Medical Associates, Volunteer with Davidson County Rescue Squad, the Davidson County Board of Election, past member with the West Davidson Booster Club, where she received booster of the year. Bonnie loved to square dance with Square Naters which she was a member of and loved to go camping. Her passion was her faith, church, family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, who will be missed by all.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Paul Kimbrell of the home, sons, P. Wayne Kimbrell Jr. and wife Gail, of Lexington; Michael Harold Kimbrell and wife Amanda, of Clemmons; Christopher Shane Kimbrell and wife Karyn, of Iowa; grandchildren, Wesley S. Kimbrell and wife Melinda, Zachary S. Kimbrell and wife Lindsay, great grandchildren, Landon Kimbrell, Lillian Kimbrell, Reid Kimbrell, brothers, Robert H. Walser, Michael Steven Walser and wife Dale, all of Lexington, Randy James Walser and wife of MaryAnn of Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tyro Methodist Church, 4484 S NC Hwy 150, Lexington, NC 27295 or to Cancer Services of Davidson County, 25 W 6th Ave., Lexington, NC 27292.
