Bonnie Diann Koonts

Bonnie Diann Hunt Koonts, age 77 of Becks Church Road, Lexington passed away suddenly early Sunday morning at her home.

Diann was born in Baltimore County, Maryland on October 16, 1943 to George Hoyle Hunt and Ethel Celeste Younts Hunt. She was a retired employee of Henry Link Furniture and for years worked for Cooks BBQ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are her daughters, Dawn Kennedy (Stephen) and Dana Koonts both of Lexington; son, Dale Koonts of Lexington; grandchildren, Brittany Weaver (Josh), Jeremy Shaw and Kellan Rushing; great-grandchildren, Karis Weaver, Kollins Weaver and Kopelyn Weaver; a brother, SGT. MAJ George Henry Hunt, USMC Retired and wife (Jimmie Jean) of Lexington.
