Brandi Star Medlin

Brandi Star Medlin, 39, of Randolph County, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2026.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Monday, September 14, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.

A graveside service will be held following the visitation at 2:30, at Beulah UCC cemetery.

Brandi was born on August 8, 1987, in Davidson County, to Angela Medlin Rush and Nathan Timothy Skipper. A graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School, Brandi was a proud Varsity cheerleader and enjoyed being involved in her community. She was also honored to be Miss Merry Christmas in the Christmas parade one year, a reflection of the joy and warmth she brought to those around her.

Brandi had a wonderful sense of humor and could always bring laughter to those she loved. She was known for her big heart and her willingness to help anyone with anything. She had a genuine kindness that touched the lives of those around her, and she was deeply loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Angela and Nathan; children, Mercedes Star Myers, Xavier Joel Gilley, and Brooklyn Lottie Hope Gilley; brother, Joshua Keith Lloyd; sister, Casey Maria Skipper; grandparents, Sandra Kay Cross, and Donald Ray Medlin; niece, Mikayla Goad; nephew, Jackson Ray Skipper; and multiple cousins and extended family and friends.
