April 3, 1950 — February 24, 2019
Brenda Faye Bates, 68, of Olin, NC, died Sunday February 24, 2019 at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Reedy Creek Christ Church Cemetery with Preacher Dean Thompson and Brother Bobby Leonard officiating services.
Burial will follow at Reedy Creek Church of Christ.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home.
Miss Bates was born April 3, 1950 in Davidson County to John Adam Bates and Helen Eliza Hoffman Bates. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and several sisters.
Surviving is one brother, Roy Bates of Lexington; two sisters Rose Younts and Vickie Mann (Bryce), both of Lexington.
