Brenda Brinkley Hartman

Brenda Brinkley Hartman, age 70 of Midway, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center with family by her side. A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 27th 2014 at Faith Church with Pastor Michael Gates. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, December 26, 2014 at Faith Church. Brenda was born on August 12, 1944 in Davidson County to Baxter Odell Brinkley and Hazel Gallimore Brinkley. She was a member of Faith Church and a retired employee with the Davidson County Tax Dept. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, William Odell Brinkley and Author Howard Brinkley. Surviving are her husband of 50 years Dwight Bender Hartman of the home, sons, Travis Hartman of Midway and Jason Hartman ( Lori ) of Winston Salem, sister, Martha Yarbrough ( Clegg ) of Linwood, grandchildren, Katelyn Hartman and Mallory Hartman, nephews, Michael Brinkley, Chad Brinkley, Jeff Yarbrough and Kyle Yarbrough.
