Brenda Jean Hartzog

Brenda Jean Hartzog, 63, of Swing Dairy Road, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, at her home after six months of declining health. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Coggins Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Lowell Askins. Ms. Hartzog was born June 14, 1942, in Davidson County to Irvin Woodrow Mize and Beatrice Shoe Mize. She was an employee of Elite Furniture in High Point. Surviving are her son, Steve Hartzog and his wife, Tina, of Lexington; four grandchildren, Megan, Amanda, Morgan and Madison Hartzog; and two sisters, Shirley Conner and Barbara Brinkley and her husband, Noel, all of Lexington. The family will receive friends at the church after the service. Memorials may be directed to Davidson County Cancer Services, 503 W. Center St., Lexington, 27292.
