Brenda Hilliard

Brenda Owens Hilliard, 64, of Old Linwood Road, died Saturday, December 14, 2012, at Lexington Medical Center. The funeral will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 18 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Littleton officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at the home. Mrs. Hilliard was born March 30, 1949 in Davidson County to Henry Owens and Leenetta Cook Owens. She was retired from Alston Brook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and a member of Holloway’s Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Gary Dalton Hilliard, daughter; Tammy Hilliard, brother; Jerry Owens. Surviving are her son Steve Hilliard (Michelle), daughter; Tina Hilliard, sisters; Christine Saddler (Steve), Darlene Burns (Wade Taylor), Goldie Doman (Dewitt), grandchildren; Devin, Landon, Preston, Lilly, Sebastion and Taylin; and niece, Cheryl Burns Jenkins (Charlie), all of Lexington, and a sister in law, Hazel Owens.
