Brenda Johnson

Brenda Warner Johnson, 79, a resident of Lexington, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022. Brenda was born in Guilford County on July 17, 1942 to the late James Robert and Roxie Creed Warner. She was a homemaker for many years. On June 8, 1963 she married the love of her life, Charles David Johnson. Throughout her life, Brenda’s focus was on her family; she was a loving mother and wife. Brenda was an active lady, when she was able. She enjoyed horseback riding and water skiing. Brenda was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church for 31 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Vance Warner.

A private celebration of life will be held by her family at a later date.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Charles Johnson, of the home; a son, Britt Johnson of High Point; and a daughter, Carmen Johnson, of New Bern.
