Brenda "Kookie" Miller Grubbs

Brenda “Kookie” Sue Miller Grubbs, 65, of Becky Hill Road, died Wednesday November 18, 2020.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Monday November 23, 2020 at Emmanual Wesleyn Church, where she was a member, with Pastor Darby Gaither conducting services.

The family will receive friends at the home on Becky Hill Road.

Mrs. Grubbs was born March 27, 1955 in Loris County South Carolina to Bobby Lee Miller and Ruby Lee Benton Gobble. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her step father, Charles  Gobble and step mother Judy Miller.

Surviving is two daughters, Michelle Hennessey (Stefan) and Laura Thompson both of Lexington; two sisters, Penny Byerly (Danny) and Ann Staten (Donald) both of Lexington; 5 grandchildren, Colton Hege (Christina), Ryan Pundt (Halie), Cameron Mize (Sierra) , Remington Leonard and Hunter Leonard; 4 great-grandchildren,Sparrow, Raegan, Garrett, and Pru; several Aunts and Uncles; and special friends, Barbara, Suzy and Martha.
