Brenda Bowen Nichols

Brenda Bowen Nichols, 51, of Captain Drive, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008, at her home following an illness of 12 years. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home by the Revs. Jerry Bowen and Gary Gibson. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Nichols was born May 24, 1956, in Washington County, Va., to Charles Lowell Bowen and Donnie Felty Bowen. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her husband, Luther Ernest Nichols Jr. of the home; son, Luke Nichols of Lexington; daughter, Lori Everhart and husband, Scott, of Lexington; grandchildren, Courtney Everhart, Sierra Everhart, Hailey Everhart, Ethan Everhart, all of Lexington and Sherina Smith of Arkansas; brother, Jerry Bowen and wife, Linda, of Lexington; and sisters, Debbie Worley and husband, Gary, and Lisa Therrell, all of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and other times at the home on Captain Drive.
