Brenda Tedder Rummage

Brenda Mae (Tedder) Rummage, age 74, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in Woodstock GA where she lived. Brenda was born on July 30, 1947, to LD “Dean” Tedder and Dorothy “Dot” Tedder. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Glenda Tedder Dean and Donna E. Tedder.

Brenda was a loving wife, mother, nana, sister, and daughter. Brenda had a contagious personality, her smile and happiness radiated to those around her. She was hardworking, dedicated and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. She worked at Old Dixie Inn in Woodstock, GA for many years. She always told us one of her favorite stories from working there. One time a customer asked her to throw him a biscuit so without any hesitation she threw it right to him! Also, she worked at her husband’s body shop called L & B Body Shop, where she handled all the books for him. She loved helping her husband with his passion of working on cars. Brenda will be deeply missed by so many.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Larry Rummage; her daughters and sons-in law Kimberly Rummage Zaring and Thomas Zaring, Angie Rummage Smith and Craig Smith; her son and daughter-in-law Derek Rummage and Tracie Rummage; her grandchildren Macie Smith and her significant other Trey Clark; Allie Zaring, Braxton Breeden, Aubrey Breeden, and Ashlynn Rummage; her great granddaughter Skylah Clark and one great grandson on the way Mason Clark. Brenda is survived by her sister Phyliss Tedder Comer; nephews Nathan Comer, Allen Tedder and Charles Dean; Nieces Erin Comer and Crystal Dean.

Visitation is from 10 AM until 11 AM on July 7, 2022, with the service immediately following at the Woodstock Funeral Home in Woodstock, GA. There will be procession after the service to her burial site, which is at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
