Brenda Kay Smith

Brenda Kay Smith,70, of Dodge Drive in Lexington, passed away Thursday January 7, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 Wednesday January 13, 2021 at  Davidson Funeral Lexington Chapel with Rev. Doug McGee conducting services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, those attending services are ask to practice social distancing and wear a face cover.

Miss. Smith was born June 25, 1950 in Davidson County to Charlie Jerome Smith and Dorothy Sue Mauney Smith. She was a member of Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents;four brothers, Charles Smith, Dewey Smith, Fred Smith, and Robert Smith; a sister, Margaret Lawson; two brother-in-laws, Pete Lawson and Don Coffey; and one sister-in-law, Tammy Vess.

Surviving are two brothers, Rocky Smith (Debra) of Linwood and David Smith (Doris) of Lexington; a sister, Mary Coffey; 3 nephews, Shannon Smith (Angie), Donald Oldham, and Rocky Smith Jr.; and a niece Christy Stroud.
