Brenda Walser Johnson

Brenda Walser Johnson, 70 of Friendship Church Road, Lexington passed away Saturday September 13, 2014 at her home. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 12:30 until 1:30 pm Tuesday and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Ray Harris and Pastor Josh Price. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will be at the home other times. Brenda was born September 24, 1943 in Davidson County to Hugh Willis Walser and Pauline Livengood Walser. Brenda was a member of Shining Light Independent Baptist Church. Her parents and a grandson, Brandon Mode preceded her in death, also preceded in death by brothers, Benny, Willis and Edward Walser. Surviving are her husband, Loal Johnson of the home; son, Hughlin Johnson (Toni) daughters, Lora Mode (David) and Lisa Simerson all of Lexington;five Grandchildren: Ashley Yarbrough (Chris), Amy Simerson, Emily Cruz (Oscar), Caitlin Mode and Hope Simerson all of Lexington; seven great-grandchildren: Sierra, Maleigha, Bethany, Amilli, Phillip, Carvella and Braiden; brothers, Kenneth Walser (Donna), Jimmy Walser (Wanda) all of Lexington; three sister in laws, Carmaleen Walser, Charlotte Walser and Martha Walser all of Lexington.
