Brenda Lee Wooten
March 6, 1958 — February 21, 2020
Brenda Lee Wooten, age 61, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 21, 2020.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be at 10:00 am Thursday, February 27, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Welcome, conducted by Pastor Jonathan Goodman. Burial will be 3:00 pm Thursday in Blueridge Memorial Park, Beckley, West Virginia.
The family will see friends one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times at her home in Clemmons.
Brenda was born March 6, 1958 in Raleigh County, W. Virginia to Tivus and Ima-Jean Beasley Wooten.
Her parents preceded her in death. She was a member of First Baptist Church Of Welcome, where she was involved with the deaf ministry.
Surviving are her stepmother, Sue-Anne Cole Wooten of the home; a half brother, Michael Wooten (Angela) of Kentucky; her step sisters, Donna Sue Tucker of Arkansas and Deborah Mozert (Thad) of Florida; and her nephews, Ben, Alex and Ashtin Wooten.
