Brent Gurley

Brent Eugene Gurley, 50, a resident of Lexington, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Brent was born August 22, 1971 in Davidson County to Henry Alfred and Rita Everhart Gurley. Brent was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time outside, especially fishing. He also enjoyed tending to his animals, specifically his dogs, who were like his children. He attended Psalm 91 church in Lexington. Brent was preceded in death by his father, Henry, and a brother, Dustin Gurley.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. Interment will follow the service in Psalm 91 church cemetery. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Brent is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Gurley of the home; sons, Slade, Brent II, Seven Gurley, Aiden Smith, and JJ Nickles; daughters, Cody, Cara (Casey Wright), Mia, Emily, and Brentanie Gurley; brothers, Eric and Jeff Gurley; and grandchildren, Matthew, Sawyer, Cloé, Joey, Casi, Collin, Serenity, Anne, and Connor.
