Bridget Delene Holmes

Bridget Delene Holmes, age 55 of Wilkesboro, formerly of Lexington passed away Saturday July 18, 2015 at her home in Wilkesboro. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday July 21, 2015 at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Brian Alexander officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no public visitation, however the family will be at the home of her mother, 232 Cloverdale Road, Lexington, NC. Bridget was born in Davidson County, July 1, 1960 to Tommie Wade Holmes and Darlene Kinney Holmes. She was a homemaker and former employee of Centerclair Nursing Home and in high school worked for the Pizza Place. She was preceded in death by her father, Tommie Wade Holmes and brothers, Forrest and Roger Holmes. Bridget is survived by her mother, Darlene Kinney Holmes of Lexington; daughters, Stephanie Owen-Serritella of Baltimore, MD and Christine Owen of Thomasville; son, Robert Thomas Owen, Jr. of Lexington; granddaughter, Angel Marie Klein and her fiance’ Larry Sidden of Wilkesboro.
