Brittany Michelle Pearson Talley, 32, of Lexington, passed away April 15, 2023, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Cotton Grove Methodist Church with her uncle Terry Kirkus officiating the service. The family will see friends following the service at the home on Jones Dr., Winston Salem.

Brittany was born September 29, 1990, in Davidson County, to Bervin David Pearson Sr. and Sherrie Kirkus Pearson. She was a trouble shooter for an internet service company and was of the Baptist faith. Her passion was her family and especially her children. Brittany was a loving wife, mother, sister and will be missed by all. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Oakleigh Talley, brothers, Junior Pearson and Brandon Pearson, and her grandfather, Gary Kirkus, grandmother, Priscilla Pearson.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Devon Talley of the home, son, Ryatt Talley, and daughter, Faith Talley both of the home, also surviving are her parents, Bervin David Pearson Sr. and Sherrie Kirkus Pearson and roommate, Sonya Bean all of Lexington. Her grandmother, Frances Kirkus, Grandfathers, Ricky Kidd, both of Lexington; Billy Pearson Sr., of Virginia, brother, Jay Condey of Iowa, his uncles, Terry Kirkus and wife Cindy, Shawn Pearson, Billy Pearson Jr., all of Lexington, aunt, Veronica Pearson of Virginia, mother-in-law, Mary Jordan of Olin, NC, her brother-in-law, Dustin Talley and sister-in-law, Dana Andrada, both of Lexington.

Oakleigh Mae Faith Talley, of Lexington, another one of God’s angels went to heaven on March 31, 2023.

Oakleigh is preceded in death by her mother, Brittany Michelle Pearson Talley, great grandfather, Gary Kirkus, uncles, Junior Pearson and Brandon Pearson.
