Bruce Daniel Augsburger

Bruce Daniel Augsburger age 80 of Lexington passed away Saturday January 3, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by his family.

A memorial service will be 2:00 pm Sunday January 11, 2026, at Mt. Olivet UMC where he was a member, with Pastor Rick LeBaube. The family will see friends following the memorial service.

Bruce was born in Oak Park, IL, on October 19, 1945, to William Woodrow and Janet Larson Augsburger. He proudly served his country in the US Army and then went on to work in computer services for Schneider Electric. He was a member at Mt. Olivet Church where he was a member of the choir. He loved fishing and woodworking. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Augsburger.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Phylis Pearce Augsburger; his sons, William (Jodi) Augsburger, Jay (Adrienne) Augsburger, and Philip Sullivan; six grandchildren; and his brother, Paul Augsburger.
