Bruce Derrick Hutchins

Bruce Derrick Hutchins, 52, of Lexington passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center. A funeral service will be 3:00 pm Monday March 29, 2021 in The Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel conducted by the Revs. Phil Kirkman and Glenn Gunner   Burial will follow in Shady Grove Wesleyan Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service.

Mr. Hutchins was born October 19, 1968 in Forsyth County to Bruce Edward Hutchins and Lois Jordan Wyatt. He was employed by Heckman Furniture. His father preceded him in death. Bruce loved music and loved the group, The Doors.

Surviving are his loving wife, Tammy Denise Sechrest Hutchins of the home and his mother, Lois Wyatt of Winston Salem. Bruce also leaves behind many friends, who shared his love of music.
