Bruce Allen Wrenn, 76, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 2, 2026. He was born in 1950, to the late Jesse and Ethel Wrenn in North Carolina.
Bruce was a man who found great joy in the simple blessings of life and the time he shared with family. He loved fishing at High Rock Lake, bird watching and feeding the birds, and making cherished family memories. Bruce was a devoted Christian by professing his faith through baptism. Bruce retired from his business, Wrenn Grading, after years of providing for his family and serving others through his work. Before establishing and operating Wrenn Grading, he worked as a truck driver and logger, building a life through determination, strength, and hard work. Bruce will be remembered for his love of family, his appreciation for God's creation, his strong work ethic, and, above all, his faith in the Lord.
Bruce leaves behind his wife Tammy, daughters Tonya Walthall (Greg) and Shanelle Wilkey (Chad), his grandchildren Allie and Zack Wilkey, his sister Rebecca Gantt, his brother Ronald Wrenn, and his parents in laws Bobby and Louise Lookabill.
Bruce is preceded by his first wife of 35 years and mother of his children, Ruth Wrenn, his parents Jesse and Ethel Wrenn, brother in law Carroll Gantt, and his sister in law Donna Wrenn.
A memorial service in Bruce’s honor will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, starting at 5 pm, at Davidson Funeral Home of Lexington, with an hour prior visitation at same location, starting at 4 pm.
Bruce was loved by all who knew him, his friends are countless, but we now rejoice that Bruce is with his Lord and Savior, and he is with all his loved ones that have awaited his arrival. The Lord fought Bruce’s final battle and declared victory. He took our beloved to his eternal home, and he is now pain free.
In lieu of flowers, donations and memorials can be made in honor of Bruce to Davidson Health and Rehab Center at 4748 Old Salisbury Rd, Lexington, NC 27295, or to Alderwood Hospice of Davidson County at 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
