Bryant Stutts

January 29, 1930 — April 2, 2014

Curtis Bryant Stutts, 84 of Lake Drive, Lexington passed away Wednesday April 2, 2014 in Alston Brook Nursing Home.  A private service will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   Mr. Stutts was born in Davidson County on January 29, 1930 to Ollie Haywood Stutts and Mary Curtis Stutts.  He grew up in Erlanger and attended Lexington City Schools.  He worked at Coble Dairy and finished his career in the furniture industries after 30 years of service and was most proud of his 20 years of service with the Davidson County Rescue Squad.  He was an avid hunter and sportsman and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Haywood Stutts and Bobby Stutts.   Surviving is his loving wife of 64 years, Lillie Jane Barnes Stutts of the home, daughter Carol Jean Stutts-Wall of Lexington, grandchildren, Jane Wall Blackerby (Will), Charlie Wall (Ali), Catherine Pyle (Charlie), great grandchildren, Madeline Blackwell, Waverly Blackwell, Chase Wall, David Wall, Caroline Pyle, Charlotte Pyle and Cate Pyle, Aunt Margie Young of Salisbury, nieces, Debbie Parrish, Anita Beck and nephew Wendell Stutts of Lexington.   Memorials may be made to Davidson County Rescue Squad, P. O. box 122, Lexington, NC 27293
