Bryce Daniel

Mr. Bryce Jackson Daniel, 76, formerly of Creekwood Drive, died Thursday, October 8, at Britthaven of Davidson. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Holloways Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Craig Barnhill officiating. Mr. Daniel was born June 29, 1933 in Davidson County to Hoover Daniel and Esther Morris Daniel. He retired from the City of Lexington, Electric Department after 43 years of service. . He was a member of Holloways Baptist Church. His wife, Doris Koontz Daniel, preceded him in death on April 22, 2005, as well as his sister, Virginia Hughes, and his brother, Hoover Daniel, Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Amy Thornton, and husband, Perry, and Julie Rhodes and husband, Scott, both of Lexington; his grandchildren, Samantha, Sommer, and Hannah Thornton, and Abbie and Lucas Rhodes. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home.
