Bryce Eugene Weaver

Bryce Eugene Weaver, 77, of North NC Highway 150, died Thursday, August 11, 2011, at Abbotts Creek Care and Rehabilitation Center following a six week illness. The funeral will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Good Hope United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Chris Bennett. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mr. Weaver was born January 9, 1934, in Davidson County, to Burgess Eli Weaver and Maggie Phillips Weaver. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Archie Weaver; and sister, Kathleen Weaver Shoaf. Surviving are his wife Virginia Potts Weaver; brothers, Bobby Weaver and wife, Betty, Billy Weaver and wife, Barbara, and Donald Weaver and wife, Lib, all of Lexington; and sister, Pauline Jones of Lexington. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
