Ernest (Buddy) Thomas Hodge Sr., age 70 passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 14, 2021

The body will lie in state from 1pm until 5pm on Friday, April 16 at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

A funeral service with limted seating will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 17 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rusty Bunker officiating and will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome Covid-19 precautions of social distancing and wearing a mask will be required. And burial will follow in the Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery where the family will see friends following the service in the cemetery.

Buddy was born on April 6, 1951 in Surry County to Carl V. Tucker and Mary Ruby Barnes Tucker. He was retired from Metal Fabrication and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his mother; son, Ernest Thomas Hodge Jr., and his sisters; Margaret Blanche Hodge Triplett and Kathy Mahala.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Patricia Tobin Hodge, of the home; sons, Terry Hodge (Dee), Randy Hodge both of Lexington; Patrick Crouse of Myrtle Beach; Jerry Wayne Leonard (Cindy) of Sunset Beach; daughters, Donna Hodge of Thomasville: Kim Mathis (Doug) of Kernsville; and Misty Crouse of Archdale; his father, Carl V. Tucker (Linda) of Lexington; sisters, Barbara Robinson of Amilla, VA, Christine Gebe (Bobby) and Diane Pucek (Andrew), both of Lexington; 10 grandchildren, Marianna Trent, Mitchell Hodge, Crystal Keen, Tabitha Keen, Ashley (Tootie) Hilton, Heather Lambeth, Baliey Crouse, Carter Mathis, Emily Hoag and Christy Leonard and 16 great-grandchildren.
