Buddy Presnell

Walter “Buddy” Clarence Presnell, 78, of Lexington passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the WFBH-Lexington Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Friday, October 30, 2020 in the Salisbury National Cemetery with military honors. There will be no formal visitation.

Mr. Presnell was born in Davidson County on August 20, 1942 to Euell William Presnell and Elizabeth Kinsey Presnell. He was a retired self-employed carpenter and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Buddy was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a loving father, brother, and grandfather whose memory will be cherished forevermore. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Tim Presnell (Tammy) of Lexington; a sister, Betty Lankford of Lexington; a brother, Gary Presnell of Shallotte; and two grandsons, Colton and Cyler Presnell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
