Burna Dean Edwards

Burna Dean Hepler Edwards, 65, of Lexington, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Thomasville Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Tuesday, August 17 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Hepler and Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. The service will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome/ Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Edwards was born November 16, 1955, in Davidson County to James David Hepler and Melva Dean Everhart Shipton. She was a member of Leonard Road Baptist Church. Her mother preceded her in death; along with one granddaughter, Brielle Kennedy.

Surviving is her husband, Kenneth Edwards of the home; her father, James Hepler of Lexington; one son, Brian David Rush of Lexington; one daughter, Michelle Atkins of Lexington; two sisters, Rebecca Jones (Lynn) of Lexington and Sharon Reid (Alan) of Germanton; and one granddaughter, Katie Atkins.
