Burton Charles Beeker

Burton Charles Beeker, age 95 of West Old Highway 64, Lexington passed away Saturday morning (March 28, 2015) at Hinkle Hospice House. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Burton was born in Davidson County August 13, 1919 to Elmo Beeker and Alice Myers Beeker. He was a retired employee of Cannon Mills and a member of Reeds Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elayne Snyder Beeker; sisters, Hilda Seaford and Melba Leonard; brothers, Harold and Graham Beeker. Surviving are his daughters, Ruth Sink (Carlton) and Charlene Swicegood (Garland) all of Lexington; grandchildren, Martha Spagnardi (Joe), Carlton “Corky” Sink (Sherry), Rebekah Shoaf (Terry) and Lorrie Fleming (Todd); great-grandchildren, Luke, Katie and Elizabeth Shoaf, Anna Harris (Jonathan) Peyton Fleming and Sydney Spagnardi; sister, Lala Tussey of Lexington.
