Buster Brown Willis

Buster Brown Willis, 69, of Lexington, died Monday, October 17, 2016, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.   A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 20, at First Baptist Church in Lexington, where he was a member, with the Rev. Dr. Ray Howell III officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.   Mr. Willis was born October 8, 1947, in Rutherford County, to Brown Willis and Sarah Lynch Harrill Willis. He was a graduate of North Carolina State University. Prior to his retirement he served as Vice President at Burlington Industries for 27 years and Parkdale Mills for six years. His parents preceded him in death.   Surviving are his loving wife of 45 years Brenda Parnell Willis of the home; daughters, Beth Tennant and husband Charlie of Raleigh and Meredith Simmons and husband Matthew of Columbia, SC.; grandchildren, Ellen Tennant and Sallie Jo Simmons.   Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O.
