C J Mullens

C.J. Mullens, of Fork Bixby Road, Advance passed away Saturday (November 21, 2009). Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday (November 25, 2009) at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Shaffer officiating. C.J. was born in McDowell County, West Virginia, October 14, 1958 and was raised by his grandmother (Mom) Pansy Ila Johnson and his Paw, James Judd Johnson. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a Quality Control Manager for Kaplan in Lewisville. Surviving are; wife Belinda Lackey Mullens of the home; daughter, Carla Mullens Williams and beloved son-in-law Richard Williams of Advance; one grandson, Colin Brady Williams; step-daughter, Candice Hayes of Raleigh, NC; two sisters, Dana Everhart of Murphy, NC and Sharon Hill of Lexington; one brother, Jeffery Mullens of Lexington; half-sister, Tammy White of Lexington. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home, Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm prior to the service.
