Calvin Everhart

Calvin M. Everhart, 82, of W. Old Hwy 64, Lexington passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 in Forsyth Medical Center after a short illness.   A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Clyde Akers officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.    Mr. Everhart was born March 30, 1935 in Davidson County to McKinley Everhart and Ora Hill Everhart. He retired from Young Hinkle Furniture.  He was a very devoted husband and loving family man who loved to tinker in his buildings.  He also loved to spend time with his family and loved the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by many.    Surviving are his wife, Shelby Johnson Everhart of the home; his son, Randy Everhart (Gina) of Boonville; his daughter, Annette Knote (Drew) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Misty Foley (Trent), and Crystal Zartman; his great grandchildren, Michael, Katie, Ryan, Rylee, Alex and Peter; and his nieces and nephews, Vanessa Gainey (Dale), Jessica McDaniel (Howard Jr.), Keith Costner and Travis Wallace.
