Candis Carpenter Joyner

Candis Joyner, 86 of Northside Lexington, died Sunday May 13, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center.   A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday May 17, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel  with Rev. Elmer Joyner and Rev. Stephen Joyner officiating services.   The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home.   Mrs. Joyner was born May 2, 1932 in Davidson County to Jodie Glenn Carpnter and Hazel Victoria Hodge Carpenter.   Surviving is her husband Clyde Joyner Jr. of the home; son Mike Joyner of Lexington; daughter Vicki Rummage and husband Todd of Lexington; 2 grandchildren Christy Bruff and Jennifer Jacobs; 6 great-grandchildren, Jayde Bruff, Taryn Bruff, Jaxten Henke, Gracie Jacobs, Dakota Jacobs and Dewey Jacobs.   Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is serving the family.
