Carl Edmond Glover, 87, of S. Old Greensboro Road, passed away Monday December 13, 2021 at Accordius Health Care of Lexington.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Gary Brown officiating services.
The family will receive friends at the home on South old Greensboro Road.
Mr. Glover was born October 20, 1934 in Davidson County to Moses Rutherford Glover and Nellie Lanier Glover. Over the years Carl inherited the name “Mr. fix it” as he could fix almost any problem that might arise. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Clarence Glover; and two sisters, Tryphene Glover and Truby Rackley.
Surviving are his wife, Maxine Cox Glover of the home; two sons, Barry Glover (Kelly) of Lexington and Darrell Watson (Debbie) of Thomasville; five daughters, Shirley Worley (Charles), Wanda Sink (Jerry), Barbara Sechest (Darren), Cathy Coltrane (Craig) all of Thomasville and Deborah Holder (Brent) of Elkin; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
