Carl Matthew Harmon Jr.

Carl Matthew Harmon Jr., age 98, of Clemmons, NC passed away early Tuesday morning April 26, 2022. A graveside service will be 2:00 Monday, May 2, 2022, at Westlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Pastor Lomax Skinner. The family will see friends from 12:30 -1:30 pm at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel.

Mr. Harmon was born February 16, 1924, in Lansdale, PA to Carl Matthew Harmon Sr. and Virginia Bennett Harmon. He retired from AT&T and honorably served his country in The US Navy during WWII. His wife, Marie Cates Harmon, sons, Richard and Roger Harmon and a daughter, Rhonda Harmon, all preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Sam Harmon and a sister, Pauline Bongart.

Surviving is a son, Eric Gerard Harmon (Stephanie) of Lexington. Daughters: Karen Everhart (John) of Lexington and Amy Alderman (Mike) of Tobaccoville. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
