Carl William Pardue

Carl William Pardue, 68 of Dalton Drive, Lexington died Saturday in Forsyth Medical Center. Carl was born April 28, 1938 in Wilkes County to Colonel Sherman Pardue and Edna Virdie Wilcox Pardue. A member of Arbor Grove Baptist Church in Rhonda, NC, he was employed with Holland Safety Supply as a Salesman. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Gaye Justice Pardue of the home, sons, Tracy William Pardue and wife, Katherine Pardue of Salisbury; Chris Lamar Pardue and wife, Lynn Garwood Pardue of Lexington, daughter, DeAnna Lynn Pardue Bowers and husband, Craig Bowers of Lexington, step son, Robert Lee Widener of Glade Springs, VA, two grandchildren, Jason Lee Lazore of the US Navy and wife, Roxanne Lazore of Norfolk, Virginia, and Matthew William Pardue of Salisbury; five step grandchildren, Wesley Ryan Bost, Jason Michael Bost, Patrick Lynn Bost all of Salisbury, Storm Thurmond Widener of Australia and Cassidy Bleu Garwood of Lexington; three great grandchildren, Cassandra Lawrence, Robin Nieto-Reyes, Nina Nieto-Reyes, his father’s wife, Joyce Corder Pardue and her daughter, Amanda Corder Pardue of Lexington, two nephews, Trent Pardue, Brian Pardue, two great nephews, Steven Pardue, Jason Pardue, and one great niece, Jodi Burkholder. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 17, 2007 in DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL with Dr. Robert J. Floyd officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the home. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, P.O. Box 1941, Lexington, NC 27293
