Mrs Kartman was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 16, 1931 to Carl and Walteretta Szewczak Kahoon. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Kartman; a brother Jerry Kahoon. Surviving are a son Jesse Calabrese and wife Joanne of Pahrump, Nevada; a daughter Deborah Hochmuth and husband Rev. Doug Hochmuth of Lexington; grandchildren, Laura and Emily Hochmuth.
