Carlton Roy Forrest

Carlton Roy (Punkin) Forrest age 80 of Lexington went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday May 1, 2021 at his home.

A graveside service will be Noon Monday May 3, 2021 at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Pastor Jamie Sink. Mr. Forrest will lie in state at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel on Monday from 10 until 11:30 am.

Carlton was born May 23, 1940 in Davidson County to Roy Joseph Forrest and Melrose Swicegood Forrest.  His wife of 60 years, Janice Jean Sink Forrest  and a sister, Brenda Forrest Slaydon preceded him in death. He retired from Built Rite Parts.

Surviving are his son, Kelly Forrest and his wife Christy of Lexington and his daughter, Sherry Lynn Forrest Lunsford of N. Myrtle Beach, S.C. Also surviving are three Grandchildren, Zachary (Brooke), Kaleb (Nakia) and  Rene and seven great grandchildren. His sister, Nancy Forrest of Tyro.
